Control on data and information is to be in charge of business

During the implementation of a large insurance administration we found that we lacked a common vocabulary both during integration and migration.
In addition to this we weren't enforcing common definitions to be applied so there was no way to measure the quality of the implementation.
3Logics directed us towards the value of information management and established the data architecture position in our architecture board.
The 3Logics data architect led our data governance team consisting of twenty data stewards. He introduced tools to control data modeling. He established the data policy and helped implementing the enterprise data model (derived from IBM).
Because of data governance we now control the data models in most databases and the DWH and we control the data in the interfaces that exist between business systems and with external parties. This also happens to be a great benefit to our regulatory reporting.
We are really getting in control of our business and thank 3Logics for that.

One version of the truth

As a big insurance company with an own bank we had to comply with regulations and report in both Basel III and Solvency II.
It was hard for us to guarantee the quality and authenticity of the data upon which we based our reports.
We asked 3Logics to help establish a bank wide data warehouse that pond also a insurance wide data warehouse that would offer asset details and risk aggregation.
First 3Logics helped us with the design of a data warehouse, the setup of a data governance framework and team and the build of a Basel III reporting line.
Second 3Logics designed the Solvency II reporting line that was build on top of financial, risk and asset collections on insurance group level.
The expertise that 3Logics brought to the table on XBRL reporting proved to be of much value.
Thanks for helping out.

Thank you 3Logics!

Thank you for saving my programme. In 2011 around 80 professionals had been working on our central data warehouse for almost two years, for our multinational bank to be able to report to the regulators in a consistent way. After so long, having cost so much the programme badly needed to show results. We had to show the board that we could deliver or else would face the programme shutdown. This in the middle of the holiday season, so we were short on resources.
Then 3Logics stepped in. In a month's time you conducted a feasibility study and came up with a scheme where in only two months we could present the board a small but real and sufficiently promising result you called a 'showcase'. The board liked this and we kept the budget on conditions that from the showcase we would incrementally build the full solution.
I am looking for a way to reward you for this.
Let me know what I can do 4 u.

3Logics saved the day and the preferred partner

In the fall of 2010 we were looking for a global partner for our global operating insurance company. The parter of preference would be globally responsible for local management and support. But the partner would face huge opportunities to expand their service delivery.
So during the interview they started out explaining how they would grab more and more responsibilities and put them in a central IT system that was unknown to us, not ever mentioning the service delivery agreements.
So 3Logics intervened and directed the attention to specifying the service contracts with the partner where we stayed in full control of our business and they would deliver under very strict conditions. A little hesitating they agreed with this approach that resulted in a profitable cooperation for both.
Thank you so much 3Logics. Your intervention meant a lot to closing this partnership deal. You fully earn our recommendations.
